I grew up in Surkhet and studied in Kathmandu, where I noticed that every guidebook ended at Pokhara. Since coming home I have been walking, taking buses and asking questions across Karnali and Sudurpashchim, then writing down what I find.
My articles are about what is actually there: the temple you can reach before dark, the bus that leaves once a day, the festival that moves with the lunar calendar. If something on this site is wrong, I want to hear it.
