I started with a phone on the Dhangadhi-Dadeldhura bus and have not stopped. These days I carry a drone and a single camera, because the far west rewards travelling light.
I like filming the way in (the airstrip, the pass, the bridge) as much as the destination, because that is what people planning a trip actually need to see.
